Now i do have to say that I'm not a fan of football and i really don't see the point in it. Everyone goes on about how England is a nation of football lovers and that we are so good at it but if that's the case then why haven't we won the world cup since 1966?
The players today are portrayed as superheroes and earn very large amounts of money for just playing a game. Kids look up to them as idols and want to have the same lifestyle.
I know I'm not a fan but i wish that they would return to when the game was the most important thing, shouldn't that be what we know and love them for and not what car they drive or what designers clothes they wear.
Nothing will change but i can still put the thought out there. This is one subject that i do find hard to put into words and if i find any other way to explain it I'll put it here.
